…when 9/11 happened?

i was in 8th grade at the time attending Ramona Middle School…i had heard a little something on the news as i was going to school but didn’t really have time to digest it…it was not until i got to yearbook where that was all anyone could talk about…i really wasn’t sure what was going on so i kinda just listened to everyone talk and try to piece things together…

…when osama bin laden was laid to rest?

well i was actual told by ryan that he was dead through a text…i believed him but for some reason it didn’t really hit me just cause he’s been out of the news for so long now i actually kind forgot about him…so i was just like “oh wow”…but then having dinner at Barney’s Beanery in Santa Monica with Vanessa having just ordered…the restaurant switched its channels to the news and it was then i heard President Obamas statement to the world about bin ladens death…then it was like “dam this is real shit”…the restaurant filed with joy american pride for our people going in and finishing what we started…
